Posted: 24 Jun 2010 My small Edinburgh garden pond is full of green algae following last year's foliage cull; yesterday I topped up the water level - today it's greener than ever, and now I have a crop of dead tadpoles - although others are still moving. Is it a chemical imbalance? The frogs seem ok... katec |

Posted: 25 Jun 2010 Thanks. Hardly any dead ones now, as the remaining tads have eaten them - there seems to be a fair bit of activity still - one or two have legs, but mostly not as yet. I'll fish some out and keep them in reserve... katec |
